Spaghetti Bolognaise
Serves 4
Preparation time: 15 minutes
Cooking time: 25 minutes

Ingredients
450g Beef Mince
1 Onion - diced
1 Tin Tomatoes - chopped
2 Oxo Cubes
1 tbls Tomato Puree
1 tsp Mixed Herbs
100g Mushrooms - sliced
200g Spaghetti
Salt & Pepper

Method
1. Put a pan of water on to heat for the spaghetti.
2. Heat a little oil in a pan

3. Lightly fry the onions for 2-3 minutes
4. Add the minced beef and fry, stirring occasionally until all the meat is brown.
5. Add the chopped tomatoes and reduce the heat.
6. Stir in the tomato puree.
7. Crumble the Oxo cubes and stir in.
8. Add the mixed herbs and season with salt and pepper.
9. Add the mushrooms and simmer for 15 minutes.
10. Add spaghetti to boiling water with a little olive oil and cook for 10 - 15 minutes.
11. Drain spaghetti and serve with bolognaise sauce topped with a little grated cheese of your choice.

Tips
Parmesan cheese is traditional but a nice mature cheddar also works well.
Using mixed herbs is the easiest but experiment with whatever herbs you have.
I always but chop my own tomatoes but you can always buy tins of chopped tomatoes.
